ALADDIN CAVES, ONLINE EXHIBITION 2024

Our unconscious mind sends forth a myriad of vapors, strange beings, fears, and deceptive images—whether in dreams, daylight, or madness. Below our conscious awareness lies the Aladdin caves, brimming with treasures and perilous jinn: untapped psychological forces we've neglected or feared integrating into our lives. These forces remain hidden until triggered by familiar scents or glances, unleashing transformative and unsettling experiences. Though they threaten our security, they also offer the thrilling potential for self-discovery and profound personal growth. Exploring these caves promises to dismantle our familiar world while constructing a more resilient, expansive, and authentic life—a journey fraught with allure, promise, and trepidation.

My photographs capture thousands of details, shadows, and forms. You can examine them up close, finding meaning in microscopic parts, or view them from afar, recognizing shapes open to your interpretation.
